A little taste of life's greatest blessings
This week has been full of great blessings! Work has been so busy and Justin is about to start working two 12 hour shifts a week at the hospital along with the rest of his classes. Needless to say, we probably won't be seeing much of each other for the next couple weeks since we have opposite schedules! Growing up is hard.
We got to spend an evening carving and decorating pumpkins with our new friends Bre and Bryce Friday night. We had so much fun getting to know each other! Bre and I also both got new callings in church to serve with each other in the relief society.
Today, I got called to be the relief society secretary and I was so excited to accept it! What a big deal for my FIRST calling! I know the lord loves me and knows exactly what I need in my life at the right time! I love the sisters in my ward and am a little over zealous about fulfilling my calling with them. November 11th will mark my 1 year date of being baptized into the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and Justin and I are getting sealed November 30th. I have received so many blessings since making the decision to be baptized and obeying my heavenly father's commandments. We can't wait to enter the temple and be sealed together for time and all eternity! I have developed such a love for the temple since the last year that I have been baptized. I have a strong testimony that I know the Lord will bless us when we do what is right. My life has never been more complete than it is now. Even when life is hard and we go through tough trials we still have to endure to the end. One of my clients told me yesterday that when your going through a trial and don't understand why it's happening to you, there's a reason for it. It's either happening to help you or to help somebody else. Sometimes we have to keep this in mind when the going gets tough! Either way, we have been blessed for it and love every moment of our lives together. The countdown to be sealed begins :)
