Today it has snowed ALL DAY LONG. All the schools are shut down, it's impossible to leave the house, and sometimes we can go a little stir crazy knowing that we aren't able to go anywhere. So what is the best way to occupy the time? By making cookies of course! Not just any cookies either. Homemade, soft, delectable sugar cookies. I have made this recipe every winter, tweaking it a little with each batch I make and it never fails to disappoint. So here I am, sharing my top secret, tried and true, famous sugar cookie recipe with you.
The best part about making these cookies, besides sneaking a swipe of frosting here and there, was jamming out to some feel good country music and having a cute little helper drive me bonkers throughout the process.
He was constantly on my feet or jumping on the counter to see what he could grab as quick as possible before I swatted him down.
But honestly, who could stay mad at that face for too long?! Okay, back to the sugar cookies..
